HART Wildlife Rescue has launched a fundraising and recycling scheme to help raise funds for their purpose built animal hospital.

Organisations are being asked to donate used toner cartridges from any kind of printer to the Overton-based charity, which will collect and recycle them.

This provides funds for the charity and reduces the amount of landfill wastes while saving manufacturing costs. Lynne Moule, fundraising co-ordinator, said: "We hope that companies and other organisations will take the idea on board in the spirit of giving something back. It will not cost them anything and we use the money to help injured and sick wildlife.

"This is a simple way of helping to counterbalance the impact we all have on the environment."

Anyone wishing to donate cartridges should contact Lynne on 01256 469026.
