TONIGHT'S the night when Andover gets well and truly into the festive mood with its spectacular lighting displays.
TV personality Fred Dinenage, ably assisted by Test Valley Mayor Cllr Jack Taylor, will switch on the new Christmas lights at 7.30pm after an hour and a half of entertainment.
The fun ranges from seasonal music, carols and street entertainers to the grand parade with a band and the Carnival Prince and Princess riding alongside Santa in his sleigh pulled by a team of Siberian husky dogs.
The Carnival attendants will follow the sleigh in a special car.
