GARRY NAYLOR put on a one-man show to guide his team to victory in the final of the team knockout in the Hants, Wilts and Dorset Winter League in Eastleigh.
Naylor, fishing for Pewsey Avon Angling, bagged a massive 37lb 15oz at Stoneham and Wide Lane - almost topping the aggregate of the 10-man Eastleigh squad.
Aided by teammate and runner-up Dave Pool, Pewsey took a mighty 89lb to the scales to floor Eastleigh who weighed 41lb 8oz.
Somebody was certain to land on the big fish at Wide Lane and Naylor put 15 ground bait feeder fulls of feed from the off. Fishing to team tactics, he started out to catch a silver fish on the pole which he did almost straight away.
With points already in the bag Naylor switched to his feeder line and took three big bream for 21lb 11oz on red maggot.
He then hooked a 16lb 4oz carp in the final quarter of the match to take 37lb 15oz to the scales for a comfortable victory and over £200 in prize money.
Pool took three bream on the feeder early on from the Top Lake at Stoneham and then switched to the pole for five good skimmers to finish second with 21lb 5oz.
Andover's Dave Tucker took a cracking 19lb carp on the feeder and maggot from Wide Lane plus 6oz of pole caught roach for third, with Dorset Raiders Dave Jenson fourth with a 17lb carp and a few bits for a total of 17lb 4oz from Wide Lane.

On the day, Dorset Raiders put in a superb performance to score 80 section points, which included three section winners.
Pewsey finished second with 69.5 points with TVAC putting in a much improved performance to finish third with 68.
Others: Eastleigh 59, Salisbury 54, Todber Manor 52.5, Christchurch 46, Andover 44, Ringwood 40 and Downton 31.
After four rounds Dorset Raiders, who top the league with nine penalty points, are just one point ahead of reigning champions Pewsey on ten points with both Eastleigh 15 points and Todber Manor 16 now beginning to look out of it.
Others: TVAC 22, Christchurch 23, Salisbury 28, Ringwood and Andover 29 and Downton 39.
