Tylney Hall 3, Tadley Town A 4
TYLNEY, who were unbeaten until Saturday, got on top of this game after 30 minutes when a free kick from Craig Newman was dispatched by John Richardson.
Before half-time Richie Attridge played a one-two with Keith Davies for the second and, early in the second half, they went three up when Paul Furla broke away.
It was a mis-kick from stand-in Tylney 'keeper Graham Smith that brought about the first Tadley goal in the 56th minute, Gary Ballard taking advantage.
Then, some five minutes later, he laid on the chance for Stephen Aldridge to score their second.
A disputed penalty after Aldridge was adjudged to have been fouled was scored by Ballard to level the scores as early as 61 minutes.
The winner came in the 81st minute as Jamie Powell won a good tackle in midfield, sent the lanky Aldridge on a run and he rounded Smith to slot home.
Before the restart, referee Graeme Train showed him a yellow card, his second in the game, for apparently taunting the opposition, leaving Tadley were down to 10 men.
Gary Hicks, the Tadley keeper, pulled off a great save from a shot from Andy Ramsden to keep his side in front.
But it was a bad ending for Tylney who, apart from suffering their first League defeat, had Richardson sent off just before time for throwing the ball in the face of a Tadley player.
Herriard Sports 2, Oakley Ath Res 1
A much closer contest this week, with Oakley keeper Terry Stent atoning for some of his errors the previous week.
A bright start from both sides, with Herriard going ahead after just two minutes and Oakley replying in the fourth minute. Mike Rackstraw pressured Stent and it led to an easy tap in for Gary Tarling.
The quick equaliser came when Rob Shenton hit over a centre and it fell to Jim Dicker whose shot found its way into the net through a crowd of players.
Oakley went close with efforts from Alex Smale and Andy Setrem, but at the other end Stent did well to save shots from Tarling and Dave Ratcliffe.
The winner came in the 89th minute when over came a corner from Sean Gaffney and a looping header from Kenton West dropped under the bar.
Headley Ath 3, Kingsclere Res 1
Kingsclere went to sleep for the first 20 minutes and Headley took advantage to score twice in that period. Conroy Sanders got the first and then Dave Hawkins went on a run, rounded keeper Brad Perrott and made it two.
Kingsclere had a good share of the play after this but went three down in the 55th minute when Saunders scored his second.
Kingsclere put together some good attacks and, in the 70th minute, Gary Rigby beat 'keeper Coventry. Chances for Rigby and Steve Bell were missed.
