Southampton Saints have another blank weekend ahead due to the postponement of Sunday's showdown against Doncaster Belles in the AXA FA Women's Premier League National Division.
The match, which had been scheduled for Testwood Park, Totton, has been rearranged because Saints pair Shelly Cox and Corinne Yorston are away on UEFA Under-19 Championship duty with England in Denmark.
That means Saints' next home match is in two weeks in the far grander venue of Southampton's magnificent new Friends Provident St Mary's Stadium.
Mighty treble winners Arsenal will provide the formidable opposition for a landmark occasion on December 2 (2pm). And the good news for supporters is that admission is free.
One of the guests of honour that day will be Karen Doyle, the FA's head of women's football, who said: "It will be a fantastic showpiece and many will want to come along to see why this is the fastest growing sport in the country.
"Both teams have great support from their men's clubs with Rupert Lowe and David Dein being respected champions of the women's game. I hope to see a good crowd at St Mary's."
Before that, Saints must travel to Barry Town in the league next Sunday. Their delayed AXA FAWPL Cup quarter-final at Fulham has been provisionally fixed for Sunday, December 16.
Saints have resigned Army midfielder Alex Cottier from Arsenal while out-of-favour striker Sarah Stainer has joined National Division rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.
Hampshire's senior women made it two wins out of two in the South West Counties Championship with a 5-0 slaying of Somerset at Frome last night.
Jo Lockton struck first with a penalty awarded for a foul on her Southampton Saints clubmate Una Nwajei, who capitalised on a weak kick by the 'keeper for number two.
The Portsmouth Ladies brigade did the rest with Stacey Niven scoring on the brink of half-time and then substitute Charley Wilson adding two more.
