SINGER Dane Bowers will swap pop charts for medical charts when he pushes a trolley at Southampton General Hospital for a TV charity bonanza.
His singles, including Another Lover, Buggin, Out of Your Mind and She's Getting It Somewhere, have sold millions in the UK.
Other stars including Steps and Geri Halliwell are also lining up to encourage viewers to donate their time in BBC1's Do Us A Favour.
The show is being screened tomorrow - TimeBank Day - which last year saw 18,000 people agree to give up several hours to help with charity work.
Viewers have been contacting the BBC over the past three weeks with suggestions of how celebrities can do them a favour.
On Wednesday the stars will take up the best suggestions and in return the callers must give their time to charity.
TimeBank, a charity which encourages people to give time to their community, hopes watching the stars on the show will spur other members of the public to do the same.
While Dane Bowers pushes a refreshment trolley around the wards in Southampton, Brookside star Claire Sweeney will help out at Romford Greyhound track, and Royle Family star Ralf Little will take a group of children to London Zoo.
Carole Smillie, who will host the live show, said: "Do Us A Favour is a fun programme.
"It shows how we all have something to offer our local communities and that by giving even just a little time we can make a big difference."
