A HAMPSHIRE man is fighting for his life in hospital after the car he was travelling in crashed into a tree.
Three other men who were in the Peugeot 405 saloon were also injured, two seriously.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident at the junction of Highbridge Road and Kiln Lane in Brambridge, near Eastleigh.
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the green Peugeot travelling between Otterbourne and Brambridge along Kiln Lane just before the crash at 10.30pm on Saturday.
A police spokesman said: "The crash happened at the end of Kiln Lane when the Peugeot failed to stop at give-way signs and crossed the carriageway before colliding with the tree. No other vehicles were involved."
All four men are from the Southampton and Eastleigh area.
Anyone with information about the accident should call Pc Mike Streeter on 0845 045 4545, extension 631243.
