Bashley are believed to be lining up a double swoop for Brockenhurst pair John Bailey and Stuart Hussey.
Manager Chris Collinge says Brock have accepted Bashley's bid of £2,000 for Hussey, plus a further £1,000 when he scores ten goals, but the 20-year-old former Bristol City striker is still thrashing out personal terms with the Dr Martens League club.
Bash are also thought to be interested in 32-year-old former AFC Bournemouth midfielder John Bailey, who has made a shock return to football with Brock this summer after retiring from the professional game with a back injury.
Aldershot, Salisbury and Dorchester are also keen, but Bailey is happy to stick with the Jewson Wessex League club if the terms are right.
Said Collinge: "John would love to stay with us but I don't think the deal we've offered him so far was what he was expecting. I've asked him to talk to the other clubs and then come back to us on August 10 when our director of football and chief sponsor Richard Kingham gets back from holiday."
Brock have special guests lined up at Grigg Lane tomorrow night (Tuesday, 7pm) when ex-Liverpool boss Roy Evans and his assistant Neil Ruddock, the former Saints defender, bring their new club, Swindon Town, down for a friendly.
The Badgers will be no pushovers judging by Saturday's 1-0 humbling of Ryman Premier outfit Basingstoke Town which was settled by a 45th-minute Gareth Barnes winner.
Basingstoke were under the first-half cosh with an Andy Jones' corner clipping the post, goalkeeper Scott Tarr tipping over Barnes's shot on the run and Phil Stone desperately close to capitalising on a defensive mix-up.
Brock had more defending to do after the break, but keeper Andy Colverson kept Stoke at bay with smart saves from Sean Gorman and substitute Mike Davis.
"Full credit to Brockenhurst, they outplayed us," admitted Stoke boss, Ernie Howe.
Bashley gave a weakened Cowes Sports side the 5-0 runaround through Dean Higgins (2), Eastleigh trialist Kevin Brewster, Ollie Shaw and Phil Andrews, while Newport IOW drew a 0-0 blank at Worthing.
Giant Newport keeper Colin Matthews rescued his side with a handful of outstanding first-half saves, but the Islanders improved as the game progressed with a Danny Gibbons header hitting the bar.
Former Portsmouth midfielder Stuart Doling made his debut for BAT in their 1-1 draw against Alton Town. Jamie Hewitt bagged the Tobaccomen's goal.
Weekend friendly results: Aldershot 0 Wycombe 1, BAT 1 Alton Town 1, Brockenhurst 1 Basingstoke Town 0, Cowes Sports 0 Bashley 5, Farnborough 1 Reading 1, St Albans 1 Havant & Waterlooville 1.
Tonight's fixtures: Havant & Waterlooville v Portsmouth (subject to cancellation), Farnborough v Boston.
