A DOUBLE-DECKER bus smashed into a rail bridge - causing part of the top deck to be sliced off.
The empty First Provincial bus hit a disused rail bridge off Newgate Lane at 1pm yesterday afternoon.
The bus was travelling southwards along Palmerston Drive when it crashed into the Fareham rail bridge
Two rows of seats were ripped off as part of the top deck peeled open.
Both the police and fire crews were called although no one was injured.
