Eastleigh'S Leigh Road precinct will be going French tomorrow as 26 Gallic traders set up stall.
Town centre manager Dennis Chandler says the French markets are popular in Eastleigh and have now become an annual event.
French organiser Phillipe Basset is due to bring stallholders - who are mostly from Normandy - across from Cherbourg tonight.
"An unusual feature of the organisation of this market is that it has all been done by e-mail," said Mr Chandler. "French markets started with onion sellers crossing the Channel with their bicycles and the French markets from Le Havre have now been operating for 15 years.
"Later this year they will also be visiting Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and London and Monsieur Basset is also arranging for English markets to go to France."
