HAVANT-based Sciona Ltd has received more than £130,000 of government funding to develop a screening process that will give people access to their own personal genetic information.
The process will form part of an action plan, which will provide advice and guidance on healthcare specific to the person's genetic make-up.
The DTI's Small business Service (SBS) granted the award as part of its SMART scheme, which is aimed at encouraging innovation and technology within small and medium-sized businesses.
