ONE of Hampshire's finest residential, sporting and farming estates, St Clair's Farm at Corhampton, is up for sale at around £7.5m.
The 964-acre farm has the classic ingredients of a country estate with a substantial principal house, shooting lodge, estate cottages, productive in hand farming and a renowned shoot which has become one of its most
popular features.
Naturally undulating countryside and over 300 acres of woodland combine to provide extremely sporting pheasant and partridge shooting.
The main house, in landscaped gardens, has four reception lounges, including a magnificent double height hall with vaulted ceiling and five bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms.
A further four suites are available in the shooting lodge, adjacent to the main house. The ground floor of the lodge has been converted to provide catering facilities, a games room and magnificent dining room.
Outside, ponds and lakes have been created in the landscaping. It also includes tennis court, swimming pool and a gymnasium.
Agents for FPD Savills in Winchester and London are working with BCM based at Sutton Scotney to find a buyer.
Of the total acreage, around 580 are geared to arable farming, and farm buildings can accommodate around 1,600 tonnes of corn. The estate also has non farming income through buildings being let for storage.
