A BUSY programme of "Summer in the Park" activities begins at Manor Farm Country Park on Monday, July 23.
The park near Bursledon will host six weeks of activities for families entertained during the school holidays, including boat trips on the River Hamble, birds of prey displays, nature rambles, quiz trails, woodland crafts and children's art and craft sessions.
One highlight will be a history mystery walk on numerous dates in August, when park visitors can join a cast of living history characters to solve a perplexing Victorian murder mystery.
All events are free except for the boat trips, and there is a small car parking charge. The events programme runs until August 31.
Further details are available from the "Summer in the Park" leaflets obtainable from the park itself, or by contacting Manor Farm on 01489 787055.
