HAMPTWORTH are again hosting the Wiltshire Open and this year's event promises to be bigger and better.
It has been extended from 18 to 36 holes to be played between August 31 and September 1.
The premier event in Wiltshire will have a great build up. The club, situated between Wellow and Landford, are staging the Hamptworth Festival on Wednesday, August 29 - an 18-hole Stableford tournament open to anyone with a handicap.
Hamptworth's target is to get a field of 200 with prizes for juniors, ladies and seniors.
The following day is a warm up for the Wiltshire Open - an 18-hole pro-am with the chance of teams of three amateurs to play alongside the best professionals in the west country.
The week is rounded off by the Hamptworth Summer Ball. For details entry fees and sponsorship slots ring 01794 390155. All profits will go towards supporting junior golf.
