HOUSING bosses, celebrating five years of providing homes in Eastleigh, want locals to add a splash of colour to their impressions of the town.
Eastleigh Housing Association has launched the My Eastleigh competition to help mark its fifth anniversary later this year.
Everyone is being invited to paint or draw a picture of, or take a photograph showing how they view Eastleigh and its attractions.
Judges, drawn from tenants, staff and local artists, will be looking for the most creative and artistic personal impressions. Judging will be in three categories - for children up to six years, children from seven to 16 years old, and 16-year-olds to adults. The photography section is open to those aged 16 and above.
Winners, to be announced in March, will be invited to collect prizes at a special reception held to mark the occasion. For every entry received, the housing association, which will be five years old on March 17, will donate £1 to Barnados.
For competition details and entry forms, contact the association at Charlotte Yonge House, Tollgate, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, SO53 5AN.
