WATERBOUND rescue services are set for a cash boost to help support operations around Eastleigh's southern parishes.
Members of the borough council's local area committee for Bursledon, Hamble and Hound have been advised to approve grants to the Solent Sea Rescue Organisation and to Hamble In-Shore Rescue.
The former group of rescuers has asked for £2,292 to help with services in the coming financial year while the Hamble-based team will receive £52.
