Winchester Film Society begin their 2001 screenings with a French tragi-comedy, Les Convoyeurs Attendent, on January 16.
The stylish 1997 Russian thriller, Brother, follows two weeks later.
New prints of the strange but beautiful British melodrama, Black Narcissus, and the incomparable comedy-musical Singin' In The Rain are among the offerings later in the season.
Films are screened every other Tuesday at The Screen at Winchester.
