A HAMPSHIRE pensioner began 2001 in fine style, scooping a £21,000 bingo win on New Year's Day.
The lucky 66-year-old, from Sholing, Southampton, won at the Gala Club in Lordshill, where she is a regular customer.
The woman, who has not been named, won the national bingo game prize of £20,000, the regional prize of £1,798 and the club prize of £62.
The national prize was £60,000 which she had to share with two other players in London and Gosport who also completed a full house in 44 numbers.
