Less than six months after introducing online ticketing, Southampton's May-flower theatre says online business by Internet has reached £100,000 and accounts for up to seven per cent of its weekly ticket sales.
"I am sure this quick, convenient and secure way of buying tickets will grow substantially in the future,'' said head of marketing and operations Paul Lewis.
