A MAN found in a Southampton house with serious head injuries after a Boxing Day incident died yesterday in hospital.
Gunar Soldors, 34, from Latvia, died 30 minutes after his life support machine was turned off about 2.30pm.
Yesterday, his brother Ivais Soldors, 28, appeared before Southampton magistrates, charged with grievous bodily harm. He was remanded in custody until Friday, January 5.
Another man, also Latvian, who was questioned in connection with the incident, was released on police bail. A third Latvian man was released without charge.
The incident took place at Northumberland Road, St Mary's.
