KEVIN Barnard, 75, of Granada Road, Hedge End, has been presented with a certificate in recognition of his long service and active participation in Carers' Action Network, a local carers' forum.
He was a founder member of the forum about 15 years ago, and has decided to retire - although he will still be a member of the Eastleigh branch of the Carers' National Association.
The presentation was made at a Christmas luncheon for carers at Eastleigh's Forte Posthouse Hotel.
