Thruxton has been added to the Formula Palmer Audi series for next year, extending the calendar to 18 races staged over nine "double header" weekends.
The FPA circuit has become recognised as a great source of potential talent by Formula One and F3000 teams, and having only been established three years ago it is now a highly respected part of international motor-sport.
The races at Thruxton will be staged on July 29 and will feature 22 cars with full 300 bhp, 1.8 litre turbo-charged engines.
Ex-Grand Prix driver and FPA series founder Jonathon Palmer said: "We have made a massive impact in just three years with FPA. I am determined to use our forward-thinking, customer focused flexibility to ensure that FPA 2001 is recognised as producing the best young talent in the world."
