BURGLARS fled with jewellery and cash after being confronted by the occupier of a house in The Crescent, Eastleigh.
The intruders had forced a back window on the ground floor and made an untidy search of the dining room and two main bedrooms.
After being challenged by the female occupant of the house the burglars made off taking £535 in cash, jewellery and bank books.
