HAMPSHIRE charity Peggy & Friends has benefited from a Christmas concert staged by the Class Apart choir.
Music ranging from a requiem to seasonal songs entertained the audience at the Chandler's Ford Methodist Church.
Mandy Giddings, from Bramshaw in the New Forest, who set up the charity for limbless children after her daughter Laura, ten, lost a foot in a bomb blast in South Africa two years ago, said the evening was a great success.
"I would like to say a very big thank you to Class Apart and would urge people to go to their sponsored sing next March," she said.
The charity is looking forward to a range of fundraising events in the new year.
Mandy said: "We have had a successful year since we registered in March. We hope to do some combined fund-raising with other charities in 2001."
Money raised from the night has not been counted.
