Romsey MP Sandra Gidley has said that local GPs deserve a pat on the back after more than 90 per cent of patients responded to a survey saying they were happy with services offered.
The MP offered her congratulations after the NHS survey, conducted earlier this year, also showed that 60 per cent of users were 'very satisfied' with the services received.
Mrs Gidley said: "We all know the high reputation the GPs in Romsey constituency have built up over the years, from Bassett to Barton Stacey, from Wellow to the Wallops, the survey results shows just how well our GPs are doing."
"They deserve a pat on the back, especially as they are facing their busiest time of year."
The full report, including people's opinions on hospital care, dentists and private medicine is due to be published in the new year.
