Sweden has joined the growing number of countries to which Hampshire's oldest independent brewery is now exporting its ales.
Forty-two kegs of George Gale and Co's IPA ale has just been brewed and packaged for the Swedish market and will give Swedes their first taste of Gale's ales this Christmas.
Real beer enthusiasts in Canada, USA, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Spain and Italy are already enjoying the taste of Gale's ales as their popularity spreads far beyond British shores.
Gale's latest success in Sweden has been prompted by a visit from its head brewer Derek Lowe, organised by the BLRA and hosted by the British Embassy in Stockholm.
