World masters champion Jo Swatton continued her extraordinary year at the British Masters short-course championship in Sheffield.
She bagged three more gold medals and two more records, clocking the fastest times of any female backstroker at this popular meet.
The Fareham Nomad (swimming in the 30-34 years age-group) won the 50m backstroke in 31.61pb, then the 100m in 1.06.73pb - a new British short-course record for her age-group. She finished off with 2.19.66 in the 200m - for a third title, a third pb, and a British and European Masters record as she blew away all competition by over eight seconds.
Another Nomad, Alan Nancarrow (25-29), picked up two silver medals, in the freestyle 800m (9.32.37) and 1500m (18.14.17). He also placed fourth in the 200m medley and 100m backstroke and fifth in the 400m freestyle.
Tony Corben (35.39) clocked four pb swims, peaking with two fifth places, in the 100m and 200m butterfly. Mark Franklyn, swimming for Nomads and the Navy, took bronze in the 30-34 years 100m backstroke (1.06.64pb), and was a pb-clocking sixth in the 400m freestyle.
Romsey & Totton veteran Charles Swann collected bronze medals in the 60-64 years 400m freestyle (3.23.59), 50m butterfly and 50m breaststroke, then topped them with silver in the 1500m freestyle (24.19.95).
David Russell led Isle of Wight Masters to a hatful of medals in Sheffield. Russell (25-29) won two golds, in the 100m butterfly (59.06) and 400m individual medley (4.48.35); three silvers, in the 200m breaststroke, 200m individual medley (2.12.60) and 200m butterfly, and bronze in the 100m breaststroke - with a top-three time in the open standings for all six events.
Island team-mate Graham Harris (45-49) took bronze in the 200m medley and 100m freestyle; Garry Wood (50-54) won 50m freestyle gold (28.01) and 100m bronze and Tim Ashwell (25-29) was third in the 50m breaststroke.
John Jacey (65-69 years) won gold in the 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle and silver in the 100m for the same two strokes.
Joan Kidd prospered in the 70-74 years category. She took gold in the 50m and 100m breaststroke, and 100m individual medley, silver in the 2100m backstroke and bronze in the 100m freestyle (1.55).
Lindsey Shenton (40-44) collected 100m backstroke silver and 50m breaststroke bronze; while Jenny Ball (60-64) collected two silvers - for 200m freestyle and 50m breaststroke - and a 200m backstroke bronze.
Gosport's Rory Fitzgerald (40-44 years) took bronze in the 400m and 1500m freestyle. Yulia Parker (Winchester City Penguins) peaked with a silver in the 30-34 years 200m freestyle (2.19.26), behind Andover's multi-medallist Sally Dearden.
