ANDOVER'S walking man, the millennium bronze sculpture and sun-dial at the junction of Salisbury and Weyhill roads, is attracting the wrong sort of attention from passers-by.
Since his unveiling several weeks ago the bronze, created by Clare Barrington, has suffered the indignity of having a wheelie bin thrust over his head and shoulders and a house 'For Sale' sign propped against his knees.
But there was worse to come. At the end of last week, as colder nights and frosty mornings approached, someone provided him with a pair of underpants.
