Two members of the same family have been killed in a double fatality on the A36 at Plaitford.

Timmy Castle, (28), of Plaitford Green and his uncle, 50-year-old Terry Castle, of Coxford, Southampton, were killed as they crossed the busy trunk road last Friday evening.

They were involved in a collision with a Vauxhall car, shortly after 7pm outside the Shoe Inn. Both men had been to a wake.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

The car was travelling towards West Wellow at the time.
