WOULD-BE volunteers in Eastleigh are being offered the chance to discover the full array of opportunities to do good in the borough.
Eastleigh and District Volunteer Bureau will later this month show hopeful do-gooders just what is on offer.
A chance to meet other volunteers and their groups will also be dished up at a special community lunch organised by the bureau.
The informative events kick off on Thursday, November 9, with an open morning at ECS House in Romsey Road between 9.30am and 12.30pm.
Visitors will be given the chance to browse through leaflets, enjoy a cup of coffee and chat to staff.
On Tuesday, November 28, a community lunch will be held with Pat Jullien, voluntary services manager at Moorgreen Hospital, speaking about Support and Enc-ouragement for Volunteers.
Attendees are asked to bring their own sandwiches but drinks and goodies will be provided at the lunch between 12.30pm and 2pm at ECS House.
Anyone wanting further information on the events should contact the bureau on 023 8090 2400.
