AN assessment of teaching standards at the Univer-sity of Southampton depart-ment of management puts it among the top in the country.
Department head Professor Roderick Martin said it received an excellent score of 23 out of a possible 24 in the assessment of its teaching quality carried out by the national Quality Assurance Agency for Higher education.
He added: "This is a fantastic result for the department. It confirms that we are now recognised as one of the UK's leading centres for management education, both in terms of our excellent research reputation, and also now in terms of our learning and teaching methods."
