DETECTIVES investigating an attack which left a man seriously ill in Southampton General Hospital have praised people for their help.
As a result of inquiries into the attack which took place at 5.15pm on Thursday in the area of Nichol Road and Brintons Road, Southampton, two men have been arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm.
Wajeed Mirza, 21, of Northbrook Road, Southampton, and a 17-year-old both appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Saturday. Mirza was remanded in custody and the juvenile was released on conditional bail.
