HAVANT & Waterlooville could be on an FA Cup collision course with former Saints and England defender Mark Wright.
The Westleigh Park club have landed another home draw against Doncaster Rovers or Wright's Southport in the first round proper - provided they get through tomorrow's weather-delayed tie against Gloucester City at Westleigh Park.
Doncaster - managed by former Aldershot boss Steve Wignall - and Southport are both former Football League clubs currently going well in the top half of the Nationwide Conference.
They drew 2-2 at Doncaster's Belle Vue Ground on Saturday - a full-blooded clash that prompted eight bookings - and are due to replay at Southport tomorrow night.
H&W secretary Trevor Brock said: "All you can hope for in the FA Cup is a home draw and it's one that, on our day, we could progress through from - although it's tough. Southport are sixth in the Conference and Doncaster are eighth.
"But in any case," he shrugged, "we've got to get past Gloucester first."
H&W's scheduled fourth qualifying round tie against Gloucester was called off at 8.45am by Waterlooville-based FA Premiership referee Rob Styles following a night of torrential rain along the South Coast.
With the weather forecast looking grim for the next couple of days, there is every chance that tomorrow could also be a washout. Next Monday (November 6) is the date the FA have set aside should there be a second postponement, but ideally H&W would like to get the tie settled sooner.
