MISSING Eastleigh school dinner lady Wendy Dunn has been found safe and well in the North of England.
Forty-nine-year Mrs Dunn disappeared a week ago after leaving her job at Shakespeare Infant School on the Boyatt Wood estate.
Her worried husband Daniel - who made an emotional appeal for her to return to their Haddon Drive, Boyatt Wood, home - said his wife had gone home after work at 1.30pm and left a note before disappearing.
The search for Mrs Dunn centred on the Lancashire area after transactions were made from the couple's bank account in Blackburn and Preston.
Mrs Dunn was traced after a reader of a local newspaper in the North-West spotted the missing person appeal.
The Lancashire Evening Telegraph carried the story after details were forwarded by the Daily Echo.
Today an Eastleigh police spokesman said: "She has been seen by police officers. She is safe and well but does not want to disclose her whereabouts."
Last week Mr Dunn said he believed his wife was blaming herself for some financial difficulties the couple had experienced.
But in a desperate message to her he said: "I have sorted the finances out. There is nothing to worry about, everything is sorted. Please come home."
The heartbroken husband said their daughter Sarah, 16, and 14-year-old son, Sean, were both missing their mum and added: "I want her back so much it hurts."
It is understood Mr Dunn travelled to Blackburn yesterday in a bid to trace his wife.
