Last-minute preparations are under way for a major concert by Fareham Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra at the town's Ferneham Hall.
The philharmonic society is being joined by the choir of Boundary Oak School, Fareham, for the concert on Saturday, November 4, at 7.30pm.
Works being performed are Brahms' Song of Destiny, Bizet's L'Arlesienne Suite No.1, and Orff's Carmina Burana, which will involve the Boundary Oak Choir.
High-calibre soloists have been a feature of Fareham Philhar-monic concerts, and this trend is continuing for the latest presentation. Soloists are Linda Gerrard (soprano), Andrew Watts (counter-tenor) and Rodney Gibson (bass). Conductor is John Bawden. Richard Chivers is conducting the Boundary Oak Choir.
