AROUND 100 jobs are set to be created in Southampton with a new £1.6 million nightspot.
Brannigans will throw open the doors to the latest entertainment venue with a VIP event on Thursday, November 23.
The 1,400 capacity venue, at 15-17 High Street, opens to the public the following day, and bosses Mustard Entertainment Restaurants Ltd say it will create between 80 and 100 new jobs.
On Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 4, between noon and 8pm Brannigans will host recruitment days for chefs, waiters and bar staff with both full and part-time positions on offer.
Spokesman Steve Dew said: "The location is all-important. High Street is incredibly popular with the people of Southampton and surrounding towns.
"We are confident that our quality live entertainment, coupled with excellent service, will bring a new dimension to the city's nightlife."
Currently, Brannigans has venues in several cities including Sheffield, Leeds, Blackpool and Manchester.
