Suspicions that the signs for this season are as ominous as ever were finally confirmed during Monday's match with Manchester City.
That game and Coventry aside, it's been a pretty good start to the season footballing wise but we don't have enough points to show for it.
Monday's performance was simply abysmal and what made it worse was that City are not a good team at all. If we can't take three points off of sides like that at home then we have no hope.
Everybody you spoke to before the start of the season agreed on one thing and that was that Saints were going to need to get points on the board early doors when you look at the run-in - and we haven't.
Surely Glenn must now play a settled side in a settled formation to make the most of what little resources he has at his disposal.
