BORED children can get some fun down at the local library during the half-term break.
The county's libraries are holding free fun sessions for youngsters where they can listen to a range of stories - from swashbuckling pirates to aliens from outer space.
Other activities include colouring, drawing, puzzles and the chance to create colourful displays for the library.
If you are interested, then the half-term holiday fun for five-to-ten-year-olds is at Winchester's Jewry Street library on Wednesday from 10.30 to 11.30am and at Alresford Library on the same day but from 2.30 to 3.30pm.
