NEW Street Youth Under-18's won through to the second round of the Hampshire Youth League Cup with a convincing 4-2 victory over Division Two high-flyers Bournemouth Electric.
Falling behind against the run of play, Graham Waters' Street side levelled through Ali Hooper before the break and took command in the second half with two goals from Lance Cooper and another from Adam Bulpitt with a clever chip before Bournemouth replied with a late second goal.
Ludgershall Youth also won through to the next round with a 4-1 victory over Division One side Fareham. First-half goals from Pete Mort and Andrew Strong put Ludgershall 2-1 up at the break. Ryan Boare slotted Ludgershall's third early in the second half and then sealed victory a Ryan Young penalty.
lCongratulations also go to Ludgershall youngster Andrew McGlashan on his appearance for Salisbury City against West Ham United in the testimonial match for Salisbury manager Geoff Butler last Monday evening.
