VINTAGE evenings at a Hampshire supermarket have helped a school to log on to the latest state of the art technology.
Two wine evenings produced a bumper cheque of £271.50p for Shepherd's Down School at Compton, near Winchester.
Around 80 wine buffs attended the events at the Asda store in Chandler's Ford and the cash raised will go towards the school buying touch-screen computers.
During a ceremony at the Asda store the cheque was presented to the school by the store's events and public relations co-ordinator Greg Brown.
