Romsey Town Football club has been left reeling after raiders got away with a huge haul of spirits and beer running into thousands of pounds.
Barrels and cases of larger, bitter and bottles of spirits, worth a total of £2,280, were taken after thieves targeted the club house on the edge of the town on the A27 Romsey Bypass.
Shutters on the bar were forced to get to the drinks. CDs, worth £1,000, were also taken and the raiders made off with £600 from vending machines.
During the raid a juke box, cigarette machine and pay phone were also damaged.
