Vandals caused damage to several cars in the vicinity of Lymington High Street.
Three cars parked outside St Thomas Church had their wing mirrors broken, and other vehicles parked nearby were also damaged. And petrol worth £10 was stolen from a car left in the Cannon Street car park, after thieves pulled out the fuel line.
Police are also investigating the theft of a red Henri Lloyd jacket and a wallet, taken from the bar area of the Stanwell House Hotel in the High Street.
