Stubbington Green fielded four young athletes' teams in the Southern Road Relays at Aldershot.
Becci Gough got the under-13 girls off to a flying start, handing over to her in an excellent sixth place. With Nikki Clarke and Gough's sister Nicole completing the team, SGR finished a creditable 29th overall.
The under-13 boys and the under-15s ran the slightly longer three-kilometre loop, many enjoying their first road relay outings for the club. Stubbington Green results:
Under-13 girls: Becci Gough 8mins 54secs (6th), Nikki Clarke 10.09 (15th), Nicole Gough 10.34 (29th).
Under-13 boys: David Dunkley 12.03 (16th), Gerald Bishop 14.09 (23rd), Andrew Boyden 13.38 (23rd), Robert Alcock 13.17 (20th).
Under-15 girls: Lucy May 12.50 (38th), Jessica Pyne 13.02 (29th), Emma Taylor 12.36 (27th).
Under-15 boys: Joel Hodgson 11.03 (22nd), Alex Swinbourne 11.02 (16th), Louis Denham 11.27 (16th), Andy Vernon 10.11 (13th).
