WHAT'S great about East Boldre? Children living in the village are being invited to describe their feelings about it - in paint.
A children's art competition has been launched by East Boldre School Fields Trust, asking local youngsters to make a picture showing life in the parish.
If they want to paint in company, the Old School Hall will be open on the morning of Wednesday, October 25, and materials will be provided for them.
The picture deadline is October 31, when entries must be handed in at East Boldre Post office or via local schools - South Baddesley, Beaulieu and William Gilpin.
Prizes will be awarded at the local Bonfire Evening at the Old School Field on Friday, November 3, when all pictures will be on display.
