FOR once school pupils could be forgiven for getting lost on the way to lessons.
Over the half term break Prince's Mead independent school for 3-11 year-olds moved location from their previous site in Edgar Road to Worthy Park House in Abbots Worthy.
As well as the equipment for 300 pupils and 50 staff, Gus the cat, a stray who was officially adopted by the school 8 years ago, went too.
The school had been in Edgar Road for the last fifty years, but has moved to Abbots Worthy to gain more space.
Headmistress Donna Moore said: "It's a new beginning for the whole school.The new school looks so beautiful at the moment and we've got so much more space and a bigger playground."
She added: "All sorts of people dropped in to help us move, mothers and fathers - everyone's been terrific."
Prince's Mead had been trying to find new premises for the last ten years.
