PAST and present members of a Southampton playgroup have celebrated its 25th anniversary with a special party.

The Jigsaw Playgroup at Thornhill Baptist Church in Thornhill Park Road marked the day with games, activities and a cake-cutting ceremony.

Playgroup chairman and youth minister Bob Morris said: "It was a great occasion - there were quite a few people there from across the 25-year period.

"We had some of the people who were there at the start of the group.''
