CORPORATE Cuisine is the aptly-named new catering company formed specifically to manage the contract for a caf bar at The Point, Eastleigh Borough Council's flagship arts venue in the town centre.
Lucy Earls-Davis and Tracy Lyons realised the potential of the venture following a visit in September.
Lucy, whose previous experience includes being in-flight manager at Southampton International Airport, had been looking for an opportunity to team up with Tracy when the contract became available.
The pair used to run tea rooms and conference facilities at Sir Harold Hillier's arboretum at Romsey.
Together, as Corporate Cuisine, they will be managing the caf-bar as a lunchtime venue for home-made snacks, meals and beverages. They say their services will include catering for The Point's popular supper theatres as well as for groups hiring the conference facilities.
"Our aim is to provide quality homemade food at affordable prices to meet the needs of all our customers, and so far we have had excellent feedback,'' said Lucy.
