Darts fans have accused Meridian for not being on the bull when it comes to their sport.
Darts has returned to the ITV network for the first time in 12 years as a head-to-head battle between the two current world champions - England's Phil Taylor and Holland's Embassy star Raymond Barneveld - is broadcast.
But Meridian have confirmed that they are probably the only region in the country to opt out.
Instead they will be showing Spotlight 99 - a live two-hour programme on the ageing process - tomorrow afternoon.
