THE corporate section of Lester Aldridge is celebrating record-breaking results in the year to September 30 with turnover up nearly 30 per cent.
Section head David Ashplant commented: "It has been the busiest year I can recall. We've barely had time to catch our breath. Everyone in the team has put in a tremendous effort and we are now busy recruiting two more lawyers to join our existing team of six lawyers and two trainee solicitors.
Our new year is off to an encouraging start with nine transactions in progress in addition to a great deal of work which we do advising on commercial agreements and general corporate matters.
"This time last year we took on corporate finance consultant Tim Beech and the initiative is bearing fruit. We have now completed our first 'one-stop shop' corporate finance deal and a second is due to complete at the end of this month."
Buying and selling businesses successfully can be complex and time consuming. Individuals and management teams need help from those who can understand their business and the complexities of raising finance. Lester Aldridge corporate section offers this as a complete package - before, during and after the deal is done.
