THREE generations of one family are helping the Waterside Operatic Society to produce its latest production.
The society is staging Gilbert and Sullivan's The Sorcerer at the Waterside Theatre in Long Lane, Holbury, next month.
The director is Kathleen Vicarey, whose husband Alan is the set-designer.
Their daughter, Christine Talbot, is the musical director.
And Mrs Talbot's children, Adam, nine, and 13-year-old Kate, are among members of the cast.
Mrs Vicarey, of Dibden Purlieu, said: "It's very pleasant to be surrounded by members of the family when we're working on the show.
"I suppose it could be difficult at times, but we all work together very well.
"It's nice to see Christine doing well - and we're delighted that our grandchildren are also taking an interest in the society."
The Sorcerer will be staged on November 11-13 at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday. Tickets can be booked by ringing the society's 24-hour hotline on 01703 891254.
